Plasterboard Products
StandardTM
Plasterboard with a standard core is used to provide an internal lining with a flat and smooth surface ready for decorative paint or other finishes for residential and commercial building projects. It is the most popular interior-lining product used today.
Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, with either recessed or square edge profiles, and in a range of sheet sizes to suit any project. Where cost effectiveness is paramount, plasterboard with a standard core is the market leader.
Specialty plasterboards
FirestopTM
Fire resistant plasterboard must be used in partition wall and ceiling systems where specific fire-resistance ratings are required. Fire resistant plasterboard features a specially formulated fire-resistant core and is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses.
UniSPANTM
A 10mm thick plasterboard used as a ceiling lining where framing members are spaced at up to 600mm centres. With its superior anti-sag performance, ceiling plasterboard is manufactured utilising fibreglass reinforcement and provides an easy-to-install, lightweight alternative to 13mm plasterboard lining.
Wet Area FirestopTM
Wet area fire resistant plasterboard was developed specifically for use in wet area fire-rated partition systems. It is available in 13mm and 16mm thicknesses, has recessed edges, and is largely used in commercial construction.
SoundstopTM
Sound resistant plasterboard has been specifically developed for use in high-performance acoustic wall and ceiling systems not requiring fire-rating. It is used in cinemas, media rooms and other proprietary systems for common tenancy walls in multi dwelling constructions. Sound resistant plasterboard can also be used in partition wall and ceiling systems for commercial and office applications to achieve maximum noise reduction.
EchostopTM
Sound absorptive plasterboard with recessed edges available with either square or round perforations. It is used as ceiling or wall lining where sound absorption is required.
ImpactstopTM
Impact resistant plasterboard is used in high traffic areas, such as hallways, schools, hospitals, commercial office corridors, to minimise damage from incidental impact. It incorporates a fibreglass mesh to provide increased impact resistance and overall strength.
FlexiboardTM
This 6mm thick flexible plasterboard is used to construct curved walls, arches, ceiling and feature panels with ease. Applied to timber, steel or masonry substructures, flexible plasterboard produces a smooth flush finish when jointed, with a superior surface that accepts a wide range of decorative finishes.
