Performance
With excellent properties for fire safety and ease of installation, plasterboard is the most widely used wall and ceiling lining material in Australia. Plasterboard is dimensionally stable compared to other building materials, and is naturally fire resistant.
Environmental
Plasterboard is made from a naturally occurring mineral, gypsum, and is 100% recyclable. Clean off-cuts can be used for new plaster products, or alternately the gypsum can be used as a soil conditioner, treating such problems as transient salinity.
Storage
Keep plasterboard dry and stacked on supports clear of the floor. If outdoor storage is unavoidable, fully protect from the weather including moisture and direct sunlight. To reduce the possibility of damage, arrange delivery immediately before installation.

StandardTM
Plasterboard with a standard core is used to provide an internal lining with a flat and smooth surface ready for decorative paint or other finishes for residential and commercial building projects. It is the most popular interior-lining product used today.
Available in 10mm and 13mm thicknesses, with either recessed or square edge profiles, and in a range of sheet sizes to suit any project. Where cost effectiveness is paramount, plasterboard with a standard core is the market leader.
